Employment Assistance

The school maintains free placement assistance for its graduates – but it is understood that the school cannot promise or guarantee employment to any student or graduate. The school actively solicits and frequently receives calls from salons seeking to employ graduates. Anyone wishing employment assistance may take advantage of these job opportunities. If a graduate indicates that he or she is actively looking for a position, the school will call them as job opportunities become available.

In addition, additional training is available for graduates who have not worked in the field and need to brush up their skills in preparation for employment.

Most graduates begin working as assistants at a modest salary, and then advance to full operators as they gain experience. An operator’s earnings depend mainly on his or her own ambition, ability, reliability, work attitude and desire to please clients. Our school periodically conducts surveys of its graduates to insure that our students are properly trained to enter the barbering field.
